Red Hat and Intel deliver high-performance virtualization with SAP
At the recent SAP Linux Virtualization Certification Workshop, Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtualization running on Intel® Xeon® processors delivered between 30 and 300 percent higher aggregate throughput than competing virtualization technology.
At a recently completed Linux Virtualization Certification Workshop conducted by SAP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux running on Intel Xeon processors delivered exceptional scalability and performance, even when the resources of the physical server were oversubscribed. The workshop testing also revealed that Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtualization delivered higher aggregate throughput than competing technologies.
The goal of the workshop was to certify processor platforms with state-of-the-art virtualization technology. As a result of the workshop SAP affirmed that Red Hat Enterprise Linux Virtualization is ready for production use with SAP.
